After a four year absence, Loudoun County's original ski shop, Pro-Fit Ski & Skate—rechristened Pro-Fit Ski & Mountain Sports—is back. The shop is Leesburg’s premier spot for alpine ski, snowboard and outdoor gear and, of course, top-notch service.
The new shop is in the heart of Leesburg at Virginia Village Shopping Center, right next to Bicycle Outfitters. Long-time owners Brian and Nancy Deely are back at the helm with the same focus on customer service, high-quality products, expert boot fitting and world class ski tuning that made the original Pro-Fit the area’s go-to shop.
The Deelys have 68 years of combined ski industry experience. Brian is MasterFit University Master’s Level Certified in bootfitting and has been involved in ski and boot testing on the East Coast and in the Rockies for decades. Nancy has worked in ski retail since 1982 and has been involved with the ski instruction community since 1981. She received her Level II PSIA certification in 1989 and maintains that certification today.
During their hiatus from full-scale operations, Brian remained intimately involved in the ski world, maintaining Pro-Fit as a tuning and boot fitting service-only operation. He continued to provide his expert skills to customers, including racers, ski patrollers, instructors, and recreational skiers from October through March.
Now, that same great service is back along with full-scale retail operations featuring brands such as Rossignol, Dynastar, Lange, K2, Dalbello, Atomic, Obermeyer, Marmot, Spyder, and more.
Pro-fit also offers rentals and children’s seasonal leases. Ski tuning services range from a basic hot wax to world class race tunes including “hot box” service.
Pro-Fit Boot-fitting services include: InstaPrint Custom Insoles Stance Assessment and Alignment Major and minor shell modification including shell grinding and stretching, sole lifts, and sole planning Thermo Moldable EVA Liners

A "soft" opening is planned for the end of September, with grand re-opening on Columbus Day weekend, October 10-14.
